Mr Litten will be writing a weekly newsletter, with the aim to share with you all that is good about our school and its children.

Dear Parents, pupils, and staff,
This week we celebrate the Hungry Caterpillar’s Picnic and a visit from Baroness Shepherd.

Picnic Time
Reception children recently enjoyed a delightful “Big Hungry Caterpillar” picnic, bringing the much-loved story by Eric Carle to life.
Parents were warmly welcomed and played an important role in the event, enjoying the chance to join in with activities and see their children’s learning come to life.
Welcome Baroness Shepherd of Northwold
Year 6 pupils were recently given a valuable insight into the world of politics during a special visit from Baroness Shepherd of Northwold, a member of the House of Lords. The session provided an engaging opportunity for pupils to discuss current issues and learn more about how laws are debated and shaped in the UK.
A highlight of the visit was a lively discussion about the proposed social media age ban. Pupils shared their thoughtful and articulate views, reflecting on both the benefits of social media and concerns around safety, wellbeing, and appropriate use. Baroness Shepherd listened carefully, encouraging the children to consider different perspectives and explaining how such topics are debated in Parliament
