An incredible week: an amazing school fete (we can’t wait to share how much we raised next week!) and being awarded the Platinum School Games Award for an amazing third time! We hope you love the photo from the Sea Life Centre trip too.
Platinum School Games Award
New Road is delighted to have been awarded the Platinum School Games Award for the third time in a row—an outstanding achievement that reflects our continued commitment to sport and physical activity.
We were delighted to be presented with the certificates during Whittlesey’s annual schools’ cricket tournament. A special thank you to Mrs Bowden for her dedication and hard work in helping the school achieve this prestigious accolade.
Year 1 and 2 Visit the Sea Life Centre
Year 1 and Year 2 enjoyed an exciting trip to the Sea Life Centre. The children were amazed by the sharks, rays, jellyfish, and many other marine creatures they discovered during their visit.
The trip brought learning to life and helped the children develop their understanding of ocean habitats and sea life. They were a credit to the school throughout the day and had a wonderful time. We would like to thank the staff and volunteers who helped make the visit such a success.
