Dear Parents, pupils, and staff,
This week we celebrate an incredible opportunity some of our children had with the United States Air Force at RAF Mildenhall. This is the third time children from our school have been selected for this once in a lifetime experience.
Joan Mann Sports Event
Our school recently had the privilege of attending the Joan Mann Sports Event at RAF Mildenhall for the second time—an incredible occasion hosted by the United States Air Force.
The day was filled with energy as participants took part in a wide range of individual and team challenges, including putt-putt golf, bowling, a football kick, an obstacle course.
This annual event was founded 42 years ago by Joan Mann, with the aim of giving US military personnel the opportunity to show the local community how much they care, while creating meaningful connections and memorable experiences for young people.
A huge thank you goes to Mrs Williams and Mrs Bowden for organising this year’s visit, and to the United States Air Force for providing such a unique and unforgettable opportunity for our pupils. As always, our staff go above and beyond for our children
