Dear Parents, pupils, and staff,
Across the school, pupils have embraced every opportunity to learn, grow and achieve, making this another successful and memorable week at New Road. We are incredibly proud of the resilience, positivity and determination they demonstrate each day.

Teachers were particularly impressed by the positive attitudes shown throughout the day. Pupils encouraged one another, celebrated each other's achievements and showed excellent sportsmanship. Many children stepped outside their comfort zones and discovered newfound confidence in their abilities.
The BMX Skills Day was about much more than cycling. It helped pupils develop important life skills such as perseverance, teamwork, concentration and self-belief. By the end of the session, every child had made progress, whether learning a new technique, overcoming a fear or improving their confidence on a bike.
Pupils Master New BMX Skills
There was excitement, determination and plenty of smiles this week as Year 5 & 6 pupils took part in a special BMX Skills Day at school.
Throughout the day, children had the opportunity to develop their cycling abilities with the support of qualified BMX instructors. The sessions focused on building confidence, improving bike control and encouraging pupils to challenge themselves in a safe and supportive environment.
