Kids Club

We are delighted to inform you that from September 2025 New Road school is now able to offer after school chidcare. We are calling this Kids Club.

To begin with Kids Club is going to be based in the cookery room and a spare classroom. These will have access to the kitchen, separate toilets for staff and pupils, and immediate access to a contained play area and the school fields.
The collection point will be the staff car park entrance. Please ring the Kids Club mobile number and a member of staff will bring your child to you. An intercom system will be fitted, but in the meantime please use the mobile number: 07961583628.

After School Clubs

We are keen to keep all after school clubs free of charge for all children. This means you can book your child into an afterschool club for free then pay for childcare from 4.15pm onwards.

Timings and cost

Kids  Club is open between 3.15pm to 6.00pm at a cost of £4.50 per hour. A drink and a light snack will be offered. Please provide your child with a ‘packed tea’ to see them through until collection time if they need this. Kids Club is a not-for-profit organisation managed by the school; we will continually review our prices to keep them as low as possible.

Sessions

All sessions can be booked via the school gateway app or online at www.schoolgateway.com 
These will need to be paid for upon booking.

Please ensure that you make every effort to cancel any sessions that are no longer required as you will still be charged for these booked sessions. Please also ensure that you have booked your child in for their session. We do have a limit on how many children can attend due to staffing ratios.

Any sessions not booked prior you will be contacted to collect your child at normal time. Late collection of children will be charged at the hourly rate.
